Wouldn't it be wonderful if the political leaders of the United States had the same courage, moral rectitude, social conscience, and fidelity to the U.S. Constitution that has been interpreted as stating that "separate is not equal," to express revulsion and outrage when LGBT people are denied dignity and full and equal civil rights, as we see in the words of the President of Argentina?
What an irony when Argentina seems to be far ahead of the United States where LGBT civil rights are concerned!
And it is a downright embarrassment and outrage when some professing "Christian" denominations, such as the Roman Catholic and LDS Churches, affirm discrimination; one leading Roman Catholic cleric in Argentina going so far as to invoke the name and blame the role of Satan in this struggle for equality, so as to prevent the acquisition of equal rights for LGBT people in Argentina.

I find excitement in this advancement for the LGBT community because it is a step in the right direction and congrats to our brothers and sisters in Argentina. I agree I find it sad that the USA is so behind when it comes to LGBT issues.
Argentina is way ahead of the US in regards to LGBT people.
